Norman Lee

We bought Norman the first year we moved here, 18 years ago. when he was a week old. We bought him and his mom with the intent of fattening up Norman and selling him and his mom and buying some more baby cows to help us keep the pasture ate down. But we fell in love with Norman and kept him. He’s now our 3500lb pet. He’s the largest cow anyone has ever seen. Everyone is amazed at how big he is. He thinks he’s a dog. He head butts the dogs (Bronco is his favorite) and takes off running ands the dogs chase him. He loves to play with them. He also loves my grandkids. They walk up to him and he puts his head down for them to pet him. One day when it was cold out, I walked to the barn to feed and he came up behind me and butted me and almost knocked me down. I told him if he did that again, we would be having some T-bones for dinner that night. I really scared him so he hasn’t done it since! Norman is very popular around our neighborhood. We got him 2 little girlfriends and he is a happy boy! All of our neighbors love him and come visit him and bring him bananas when riding their horses…. we love our Norman.
